In this chapter of my #WorkExperience, I tell you about my modeling career started in 2012 for the Fashion Design department at IUAV (literally from Italian: Architectural University Institute of Venice).
MALE MODEL AT IUAV
I started my modeling career in 2012 with some amateur photo shoots. At the beginning, I perceived it like a game, nothing professional, but day by day I discovered to have an aptitude for it. So, I started to participate in fashion shows.
It was my cousin Anna Carniel, a fashion designer at IUAV, who first involved me as a model in her institute's fashion shows and photo shoots.
Soon, I realized the fashion world was not like I imagined. It is very competitive and being a handsome guy is not enough. You must have a natural aptitude for the camera, but you also have to develop an apt behavior to survive in this highly competitive world.
Nowadays, I look at fashion from a more rational point of view and work on it just for fun. For me, being a model is not just about aesthetic: the body and soul should blend together to create a right balance of beauty and morality.
